Vidya (Sanskrit: विद्या, IAST: vidyā) – meaning science, learning, higher knowledge, and clarity. The term is used to describe both intellectual knowledge obtained through study (apara vidya) and spiritual or higher knowledge (para vidya). In the Five Kleshas, it is said that the first cause of suffering is Avidya, or ignorance, the lack of understanding of the self. The study of yoga leads to the knowledge of self.

You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you; none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul. “-Swami Vivekananda

About Our School

Breathe Into Awareness  In-Depth Studies and Teacher Training Programs: Where Neuroscience and Somatic Therapy  Meet the Ancient Practice of Yoga.

In a world full of action, constant change, and increasing external focus, the journey inward is no easy feat. As with any journey, there are various paths to arrive, and we all have a unique prescription required to meet our personal needs, leveling up along the way. This program includes a comprehensive approach to yoga as a lifestyle, a journey from the inside out.

Our Foundational 200-Hour program focuses on the concept of asana as Sacred Geometry, a tool aligning the essence of the pose, the purity of breath, and the ancient philosophy of the practice with today’s modern issues. Our shape is unique to our history, body story, mindfulness, and intentions for arriving on the mat. The expression of our practice is our own.

Our 300 Hour takes it deeper, expanding on the introductions of the 200 Hour. The 500-hour consists of attending both.

Whether you intend to learn more about yoga, yourself, and your practice or continue to teach and share with others, this program supports learning and growth on and off the mat.

We are Registered with Yoga Alliance and the 200 & 500 Hour Level since 2007 and are a recognized school with the International Association of Yoga Therapy since 2020
